When the park says no
Parks buy stock selectively. If they’re overstocked with pre-owned caravans, if yours is older than the models they like to carry, or if it just isn’t what they’re looking for that season, they’ll decline — however well you’ve kept it. It’s a stock decision, not a judgement on what your caravan is worth. But it can leave you stuck: you want to sell, and the one buyer on site has said no.

Before you decide: three checks worth making
Dig out your pitch licence agreement and note anything it says about selling or removing the caravan. Ask the park what disconnection involves on your pitch. And get an independent valuation even if the park has already quoted or declined — it costs nothing and tells you what the caravan is actually worth in the trade. Yes — owners in exactly that position are most of the people we buy from. When a park declines to buy a caravan, it’s usually because they’re overstocked, the caravan is older than the stock they carry, or it’s simply not what they’re looking for. None of that means your caravan is worthless. We’re an independent trade buyer with a UK-wide market, so we can buy it, collect it from the park free of charge, and pay you the same day.
Why would a Haven park turn my caravan down?
